The plan for the Dixit Wada evolved over time. After his first visit in November 1909, Dixit initially considered building a simple tin-roofed structure. However, as noted in chapter 4, this idea soon transformed into a firm decision to build a proper Wada. The following year, this plan was put into action. After taking Baba's approval, the foundation stone was laid on December 9th. The orders for Dixit to proceed with the foundation were formally given by Baba on December 10th, a day which also marked the arrival of Dixit's brothers and Dadasaheb Khaparde.
