Can you narrate the incident where Kashiram was attacked by thieves and how Sai Baba was involved?

Kashiram was attacked by thieves who wanted a bundle he carried, which they mistook for treasure but was actually powdered sugar. As described in Chapter 0, he fought back with a dropped sword but was struck with an axe and left unconscious. Simultaneously, in Shirdi, Maharaj (Sai Baba) became very agitated, shouting and swearing. His nearby devotees understood this was his way of protecting a devotee in great danger. Kashiram survived, and refusing hospital care, he was brought to Shirdi where he was treated by Madhavrao Deshpande on Maharaj's instructions and recovered by His grace. For this bravery, the Bombay government gifted him a sword.
