Kashiram was one of Sai Maharaj's most dedicated early followers. According to Chapter 0, he served Maharaj with his wealth and actions, providing everything from tobacco for his chillum to clothing. He underwent a significant spiritual test when Maharaj made him face financial ruin to cure him of the pride he felt in giving Dakshina.
