Can you explain what constitutes the true 'divine heavenly state' as described in the Satcharitra, and how it differs from the popular notion of heaven?

📖 Chapter 37

Chapter 37 offers a reinterpretation of the heavenly state, moving it from a specific location to a state of consciousness. The true 'divine heavenly state' is not a place of sensual enjoyment but is synonymous with the Virat or Cosmic Self-form, which is free from mental grief. This state is characterized by the absence of disease, worry, sorrow, hunger, thirst, and the fear of old age or death. It is a state where the soul moves fearlessly, free from the duality of 'do's and don'ts'. As this chapter explains, unlike the temporary heaven from which one falls, this divine state is achieved by overcoming ignorance, anger, and hatred, and by realizing the oneness of the Self with the Parabrahman that pervades all of existence.
