While Sapatnekar was massaging Baba's feet, a Dhangar (shepherd) woman arrived, and Baba began a conversation with her. As Sapatnekar listened, he was shocked to realize that every word of the conversation was actually his own life story. Though the story was framed as being about a merchant, it was his own, even including the painful news of his late son's death. The woman merely said "Yes," but the entire narrative was being recounted by Baba, making Sapatnekar realize the story was meant for him.
