Can you explain the story of Laxmichand and the khaja prasad, and what it reveals about Sai Baba's nature?

📖 Chapter 28

The story of Laxmichand and the khaja, found in Chapter 28, is a wonderful illustration of Sai Baba's divine awareness. While visiting Shirdi, Laxmichand developed a strong desire for more khaja, a sweet he had enjoyed the day before. This was a private, unexpressed wish. However, Sai Maharaj, through his inconceivable knowledge, perceived this desire. He instructed a devotee to bring a plate full of khaja and then announced to everyone that He felt like having khaja prasad. The text notes that when the khaja arrived, Laxmichand's attachment was fulfilled and joy arose in his heart. This narrative reveals Baba's compassionate nature and His ability to perceive and respond to the subtle, unspoken desires of His devotees.
