Can you explain the story of Hari Kanoba and how Sai Baba demonstrated his omniscience through a pair of lost shoes?

📖 Chapter 49

Certainly. Hari Kanoba, a man from Mumbai, came to Shirdi specifically to test Sai Baba, as he was a seeker of miracles. As detailed in Chapter 49, upon arriving for darshan, he hid his new shoes in a corner of the mosque, only to find them missing when he returned. This caused him great distress. Sai Baba, fully aware of Hari Kanoba's thoughts and the location of the shoes, demonstrated his omniscience by sending a boy with the lost footwear on a stick. Baba instructed the boy to call out for the 'Son of Hari' with a 'gold-bordered turban,' the exact description of the owner. This miraculous event convinced the skeptical Haribhau of Baba's sainthood.
