Can you explain the story of Boss Dharamsee's first encounter with Sai Baba and the miracle of the grapes?

📖 Chapter 35

The story of Boss Dharamsee's first visit to Shirdi is a powerful example of Baba's divine knowledge. As narrated in Chapter 35, Dharamsee was a skeptic who came to Shirdi with a 'clinical interest.' When Kaka offered grapes with seeds to Baba, Baba started distributing them. He gave some to Dharamsee, who disliked that variety and was also worried about eating them unwashed. He even thought to himself, 'If he is a saint, how does he not know that I do not like these grapes?' In response, Baba gave him even more. Finally, when Baba commanded him to eat, Dharamsee obeyed and was astonished to find the grapes were seedless. Another devotee, Babasaheb Tarkhad, confirmed his own grapes still had seeds, highlighting the personal nature of the miracle. This event dissolved Dharamsee's ego and ignited a deep love and firm determination to return to Shirdi.
