Can you explain the story of Bhagwantrao Kshirsagar and why Sai Baba was concerned about his neglected 'Shraddha' ceremony?

📖 Chapter 4

The story of Bhagwantrao Kshirsagar, detailed in Chapter 4, highlights Sai Baba's respect for ancestral traditions. Bhagwantrao's father was a devout worshipper of Vitthal and a friend of Baba. After his father's passing, Bhagwantrao ceased the family traditions of worship, food offerings (Naivedya) to Vitthal, and even skipped the annual Shraddha, or death anniversary rites. When Bhagwantrao came to Shirdi, Baba, remembering his old friend, revealed that by neglecting these duties, Bhagwantrao was effectively starving both Vitthal and Baba himself. Baba stated he had drawn Bhagwantrao to Shirdi specifically to remind him of his responsibilities and to reinstate the worship, demonstrating the importance of honoring one's lineage and spiritual commitments.
