Can you explain the story behind the Sai Baba portrait that Kakasaheb Dixit saw at Mirikar's house? Why was it there and who was supposed to take it to Shirdi?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 51

The portrait's presence at Mirikar's house was a remarkable coincidence. The photograph was originally worshipped by Megha, a devoted disciple of Baba. As detailed in Chapter 51, the glass on the photograph had broken, so it was sent from Shirdi with Balasaheb Mirikar to Nagar for repairs. After being repaired, it was kept covered in Mirikar's drawing room. Balasaheb was waiting for the end of a horse show to return to Shirdi, so in the meantime, he entrusted the portrait to Madhavrao Deshpande to take back. It was at this exact moment that Kakasaheb Dixit was visiting, and seeing the portrait of the Guru he longed for filled him with extreme delight.
