Can you explain the situation with the Dakshina when Kaka Mahajani and his friend visited Sai Baba? Why did the friend feel restless?

📖 Chapter 35

The incident with the Dakshina is a key part of the story in Chapter 35. Kaka Mahajani's friend had vowed not to offer any Dakshina. Interestingly, Sai Baba never asked him for any. After the friend had already bowed, Baba asked Kaka Mahajani for Dakshina, which Kaka gave. When they returned in the afternoon to get permission to leave for Mumbai, Baba again asked only Kaka for Dakshina, this time requesting a specific amount of seventeen rupees. The text explicitly states that Baba "asked nothing of the friend," and as a result of being ignored in this manner, the friend "then felt restless in his mind."
