Can you explain the significance of the Chavadi for Amir Shakkar, despite its poor condition?

📖 Chapter 22

The Chavadi, though old and dilapidated, held immense significance for Amir Shakkar. As detailed in Chapter 22, Baba instructed Amir, who was suffering from rheumatism, to stay there for nine months. Despite the building being full of garbage, holes, dampness, and scorpions, it became a place of great spiritual fortune. The enforced stay, which initially felt like a prison, provided Amir with constant and effortless darshan of Sai Baba. Baba's daily processions passed by, and on alternate nights, Baba himself stayed in the Chavadi, allowing for intimate conversations. Thus, the Chavadi transformed from a place of physical misery into a site of profound spiritual companionship with Sai, a rare benefit not easily attained.
