Can you explain the "Satya-Sai vow" that the Patil started and what it involved?

📖 Chapter 13

The "Satya-Sai vow" was a tradition initiated by the Patil as an expression of his gratitude towards Sai Baba. According to Chapter 13, this practice was modeled after the well-known Satyanarayan vow. The Patil would perform this vow every Thursday after bathing. Instead of reading the Satyanarayan story, he would read from the "modern Bhaktalilamrut" written by Das Ganu. Specifically, he would recite the three chapters dedicated to Sainath's character, which he considered the "Satya-Sai story." This ritual, which included offerings and celebration, brought him boundless happiness and became a regular custom in his village.
