Can you explain the "Satya-Sai vow" that Tatya Patil initiated? What did this spiritual practice involve?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 13

The "Satya-Sai vow" was a devotional tradition started by Tatya Patil to honor Sai Baba. Chapter 13 explains that, similar to how people perform a Satyanarayan vow to overcome a crisis, Patil began this practice out of gratitude. Every Thursday, after bathing, he would read from a specific text. Instead of the traditional Satyanarayan story, Patil would read the modern "Bhaktalilamrut" written by Das Ganu. Specifically, he would recite the three chapters within that book that detail the character and life of Sainath. This practice, performed with offerings and celebration, brought him peace and became a custom in his village.
