Can you explain the role of the Gunas (Rajas, Tamas, Sattva) in the spiritual journey as outlined in Chapter 46?

📖 Chapter 46

In Chapter 46, the transformation of the Gunas is presented as a key outcome of devotion to Sai. The chapter explains that chanting Sai's name is an easy remedy that directly impacts these qualities. It states that this practice will surely cause 'Rajas' (the quality of passion and activity) and 'Tamas' (the quality of inertia and ignorance) to vanish. Concurrently, 'Sattva' (the quality of purity and harmony) will gradually increase. According to the teachings in Chapter 46, this cultivation of Sattva awakens a righteous disposition, which in turn leads to detachment and the manifestation of self-knowledge.
