Can you explain the role of patience and intermediaries when devotees sought blessings from Sai Baba regarding sacred books?

📖 Chapter 27

According to Chapter 27, approaching Sai Baba for a blessing, such as having a book consecrated, required considerable patience. Although Baba's nature was described as generous, devotees understood that a direct approach might not work. They would often use an intermediary, like Madhavrao (Shama), to present the book at an opportune moment. After Baba received the book, devotees would eagerly hold out their hands to get it back. However, Baba would frequently test their patience further by giving the book to Shama instead, telling him, 'You keep it,' despite the original owner's eagerness.
