Can you explain the psychological transformation of Boss Dharamsee during his first darshan of Sai Baba?

📖 Chapter 35

Chapter 35 provides a detailed account of Boss Dharamsee's profound psychological transformation. He arrived in Shirdi with a skeptical and analytical mindset, described as having a "clinical scrutiny." His initial interaction was marked by internal conflict and judgment; he disliked the grapes offered by Baba and questioned Baba's omniscience. As stated in Chapter 35, he thought, "If he is a saint, how does he not know That I do not like these grapes?" This represents a state of ego and doubt. The turning point was the miracle of the seedless grapes. This experience completely shattered his rational framework. The text notes, "His state of mind was stunned; he forgot his clinical scrutiny; All his ego dropped away, and love for the saint was born." His skepticism was replaced by amazement, love, and a firm resolve to return to Shirdi.
