The idea for the Dixit Wada began in December 1909 when Kakasaheb Dixit, after his second darshan of Sai, first considered building a tin roof for pilgrims. This initial thought soon evolved into a firm decision to construct a proper stone Wada. According to Chapter 4, the foundation stone was laid the following year. After receiving Baba's approval, the foundation was completed on December 9th, which was considered an auspicious time. The formal order from Baba to Dixit to lay the foundation was given on December 10th, solidifying the commencement of this significant structure in Shirdi.
