Can you explain the philosophical teachings on oneness versus duality as detailed in Chapter 14?

📖 Chapter 14

Chapter 14 presents a profound philosophical teaching on the concepts of oneness (non-duality) and duality. It posits that the intellect which establishes duality, or manifoldness, is born from pure ignorance and is the very thing that perpetuates the cycle of birth and death. The path to liberation, as described in the chapter, is to recognize the ultimate oneness of all existence. The text teaches that the same Essence in one's own body is present throughout the entire universe. Attaining this state of non-duality requires turning away from ignorance and seeing no difference, recognizing that Brahman pervades everything, from the celestial being Brahma down to a simple blade of grass. This purification of mind is achieved through the Guru's teachings.
