Can you explain the origin and practice of the "Satya-Sai vow" as started by the Patil?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 13

The "Satya-Sai vow" was a tradition initiated by the Patil as a way to express his profound gratitude for being healed by Sai Baba. As Chapter 13 explains, people would often vow to perform a Satyanarayan ritual when in trouble. Inspired by this, the Patil began his own version, the Satya-Sai vow. Every Thursday, after bathing, he would read from the modern "Bhaktalilamrut" written by Das Ganu. Specifically, he would read the three chapters dedicated to the character of Sai Baba with great love. The Patil considered these three chapters to be the "Satya-Sai story" and the best among all vows. He performed this ritual regularly with a joyful mind, complete with offerings and celebrations, establishing a custom that spread throughout his village.
