The 'great wonder' described in Chapter 18 was a method Baba used to provide profound confirmation to his followers. He would sometimes tell a devotee a short story. While the person was still contemplating it, Baba would instruct them to go to Sathe's Wada where the scripture reading was in progress. Upon arriving, the devotee would find that the exact same story they had just heard from Baba was being read from the book, be it Jnaneshwar’s Jnaneshwari or Eknath's speech.
