Can you explain the events that led to Sai Baba's return to Shirdi?

After being 'hidden' for some time, Baba was discovered by Chand Patil, a resident of Dhup village. Patil had lost his mare and was grieving its loss for two months. While traveling, he encountered Baba, who appeared as a Fakir under a mango tree. Baba miraculously told Patil exactly where to find his lost mare. In gratitude and reverence, Patil recognized Baba as a saint.
