Can you explain the difference between Shreya and Preya as described in Chapter 17?

Chapter 17 explains that Shreya (the Good or Path of Salvation) and Preya (the Pleasant or Path of Worldly Joy) are of opposite natures, like light and darkness. Shreya is the form of wisdom and pure Knowledge (Vidya), while Preya represents ignorance (Avidya) and a lack of discrimination. As detailed in this chapter, those who pursue Preya fall away from their true self-interest, becoming obsessed with worldly objects, wealth, and status. Conversely, the wise and fortunate cling to Shreya, which is the true purpose of human life. The dull-witted, however, are often conquered by Preya and embrace it.
