Can you explain the details of the Ram Navami flag procession involving Damu Anna?

As described in Chapter 25, the annual Ram Navami festival in Shirdi featured a procession with two large new flags. One of these flags was provided by Damu Anna as part of a regular vow he fulfilled with great devotion over many years; the other belonged to the Nimonkars. The procession would commence from the house of Kondaji Sutara, the carpenter. From there, the flags were carried through the village accompanied by the sound of musical instruments. The procession culminated when the long banners were tied to the two ends of the Masjid, a practice well-known to the residents of Shirdi.
