As detailed in Chapter 45, 'undifferentiated worship' (Abheda-bhajan) is a state of spiritual realization. The path to achieving it begins with the practice of discrimination between the eternal (Brahman) and the transient (the world). The scripture identifies the Guru as the true Brahman, a solid mass of Brahman-consciousness. A seeker must renounce the transient world, which gives rise to dispassion (Vairagya), and meditate only on the Guru. This constancy of feeling and focus is the means by which divinity then arises in all beings, culminating in the state of undifferentiated worship, where the devotee sees the divine in everything.
