Can you explain the concept of approaching the Supreme Reality using the examples provided at the beginning of Chapter 19?

📖 Chapter 19

The start of Chapter 19 uses several beautiful analogies to explain how a devotee can give form to and approach the Supreme Reality, described as Sai himself. The author likens this devotional act to a worshipper of the Sun performing Aarti with just a small wick, or a devotee of Ganesha offering a jaggery snack to an idol that is itself made of jaggery. Another example given is offering a palmful of water back to the great ocean. While these acts might seem insignificant, the chapter emphasizes that powerful entities like the Sun and the Ocean do not judge the offering's scale but look only at the devotee's faith, as their purpose is to honor the devotee.
