Can you explain the backstory of the Sai Baba portrait that was at Mirikar's house when Dixit visited?

📖 Chapter 51

The Sai Baba portrait mentioned in Chapter 51 has a significant history. It was a photograph that Sai Baba's devoted disciple, Megha, used to worship with great love, regarding it as Lord Shankar himself. At some point, the glass covering the photograph broke in Shirdi. Consequently, the portrait was sent with Balasaheb Mirikar to Ahmednagar to be repaired. After the repairs were completed, the portrait was kept covered with a cloth in Mirikar’s drawing room. The text suggests it was as if the portrait was waiting there specifically for Dixit's arrival. After Dixit and Madhavrao's plan to travel to Shirdi was finalized, Balasaheb entrusted this repaired and sacred portrait to Madhavrao for its return journey.
