Can you explain Sai Baba's approach to giving charity and money to people? Was it consistent?

📖 Chapter 29

Based on Chapter 29, Sai Baba's approach to charity was known to be incredibly generous, yet highly unpredictable. While his fame for distributing money abundantly spread far and wide, attracting many pilgrims and devotees, his giving was not consistent. The text states he would give ten or fifty rupees daily, but also notes that his manner was never fixed. He might give a sweet, money, or send someone back empty-handed. Chapter 29 explains that receiving a blessing from Baba's hand was a matter of fortune, occurring only when one's "auspicious time had arrived." Thus, while he was merciful and compassionate to the poor and needy, he did not give to all alike, and no one could predict his actions.
