Can you explain Damu Anna's role in the Ram Navami festival in Shirdi?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 25

Damu Anna played a significant and consistent role in the annual Ram Navami festival in Shirdi. As detailed in Chapter 25, he had taken a regular vow, which he carried out for many years with uninterrupted love and devotion, to provide one of the two large new flags for the festival procession. The other flag was provided by the Nimonkars. This procession would commence from the house of Kondaji Sutara, the carpenter, and proceed through the village with musical accompaniment. Ultimately, the long banners, including the one from Damu Anna, were tied to the two ends of the Masjid.
