On the third day of the visit, a wonderful sequence of events unfolded to fulfill Laxmichand's lingering desire for khaja. Chapter 28 recounts that devotees went to the masjid for worship and asked Baba what food offering (naivedya) they should bring. In response, Maharaj specifically ordered them to "Bring me a plate full of khaja." After the afternoon arati was completed, Baba told all the devotees that he felt like having khaja prasad and that everyone should be served. Consequently, devotees brought two bowls filled with the sweet. It was then, during the mealtime, that Laxmichand, who was suffering from hunger, finally received the khaja, and his wish was granted.
