Can you detail the internal conflict and eventual transformation of Boss Dharamsee during his visit with Sai Baba?

📖 Chapter 35

Boss Dharamsee's visit was initially marked by skepticism and what the text calls 'clinical scrutiny.' His internal conflict began when Sai Baba offered him grapes with seeds. Chapter 35 explains that Dharamsee not only disliked this variety but also had been warned by his doctor not to eat unwashed fruit. This created a dilemma where he found it difficult to eat them but felt it would be wrong to reject them. This conflict led him to mentally challenge Baba's omniscience. The transformation occurred when Baba, knowing his thoughts, insisted he eat the grapes. Upon finding them miraculously seedless, Dharamsee's state of mind was 'stunned.' His ego dissolved, his previous resolves vanished, and a profound love and firm determination to return to Shirdi filled his heart.
