Can you describe what Sai Baba's life and surroundings were like in the mosque before many devotees gathered?

πŸ“– Chapter 5

According to Chapter 5, Sai Baba's life in the mosque was one of extreme simplicity. His favorite seat was a specific spot where he would sit awake for all twenty-four hours, facing south and looking at his dhuni, or sacred fire. He wore only a loincloth and used the dhuni for warmth. Into this fire, he metaphorically offered his ego, desires, and worldly inclinations. The mosque itself was very small, just two small rooms, which he used to sit, stand, sleep, and meet everyone. Mattresses and pillows only appeared later, around 1912, as the community of devotees grew and began to transform the mosque.
