Chapter 10 provides a fascinating description of Sai Baba's unique sleeping arrangement. He would rest on a very narrow wooden plank, described as being only four cubits long and a mere one span (approximately 9 inches) wide. This plank was not on the floor but was suspended from the rafters of the mosque like a swing, tied at both ends with old rags. The mystery, as detailed in this chapter, was that his movements were completely imperceptible; no one ever witnessed him climbing up onto the plank or descending from it. This miraculous feat was attributed to his great Siddhis, or divine powers.
Can you describe the unusual place where Sai Baba used to sleep? What was so mysterious about it?
