Can you describe the unique sleeping arrangement of Maharaj in the Masjid and why it was discontinued?

Maharaj had a very peculiar sleeping arrangement in the Masjid. He would sleep on a wooden plank that he hung from the rafters using old rags. As described in Chapter 0, these rags appeared too weak to hold the plank, let alone his body, yet they did, showcasing his power. While he slept, he would place four lit lamps at the corners of the plank. This sight drew many curious onlookers, but no one ever witnessed how he got onto or down from the suspended plank. Because this spectacle started to create a distraction and draw large crowds, Maharaj eventually broke the plank himself to put an end to it.
