Can you describe the unique and close relationship between Mhalasapati and Sai Baba?

Mhalasapati and Maharaj shared an exceptionally close and intimate relationship. As Chapter 0 describes, on the nights that Maharaj slept in the Masjid, Mhalasapati would unfailingly sit by his side until dawn. These nights were filled with very affectionate conversations between them. This routine of Mhalasapati sitting in the Masjid all night every other day continued until he passed away. The text notes he was a highly advanced and completely selfless individual who provided guidance and joy to other devotees, serving as a 'place of rest' for them after Maharaj's own time. Their bond was a cornerstone of the early Shirdi community.
