Can you describe the story of the Yoga practitioner in Chapter 23 and explain the lesson it teaches?

📖 Chapter 23

Chapter 23 of the Sai Satcharitra recounts the story of a practitioner of Yoga (Yogabhyasi) who, despite being well-versed in the Yoga Shastras, could not achieve Samadhi. Hoping Sai Baba could help, he visited the Masjid but was immediately filled with doubt when he saw Baba eating stale bread with onions. The Yogi thought, "How can this man remove my doubts?" Being omniscient, Sai Baba perceived this thought and remarked to Nanasaheb Chandorkar, "Only those whose digestion is strong should eat onion." As detailed in Chapter 23, this comment startled the Yogi, who realized Baba's inner knowing. He then surrendered with a doubt-free heart, received Baba's blessings and Udi, and returned content. The story illustrates Baba's omniscience and teaches that a saint's true state cannot be judged by external actions like their diet.
