Can you describe the story of Damu Shet Kasar and why he became a devotee of Maharaj?

Damodar Savlaram, also known as Damu Shet Kasar, was a man from Ahmednagar who was deeply saddened because he had no sons from either of his two wives. As recounted in Chapter 0, his journey of devotion began when Ra. Govindrao Sapkar suggested he visit and receive a blessing from Maharaj. Damu Shet followed this advice, and after Maharaj gave his blessing, he was blessed with a son. This miraculous event firmly established his faith. In gratitude, he took a vow to bring a new ceremonial flag for the Ram Navami festival each year and to feed all the Fakirs gathered on that day, a commitment he upheld continuously.
