According to Chapter 20 of the Sai Satcharitra, the scene after the midday Aarti was one of profound love and grace. Sai Baba would come to the edge of the Masjid and, with a merciful gaze, distribute Udi to the devotees. The devotees would rush to embrace his feet and watch as Baba, with boundless love in his heart, filled his hands with Udi and placed it in their cupped hands. He would also apply it to their foreheads with his thumb. After this, he would lovingly dismiss them, saying things like, "Go, Bhau, go to eat; go, Anna, go and eat a delicious meal; go, all of you, to your lodgings."
