Maharaj and Mhalasapati shared an extremely close and affectionate relationship. As described in the introduction from Chapter 0, Mhalasapati would sit by Maharaj's side until dawn on the nights he slept in the Masjid. During these nights, they engaged in very affectionate conversations. This routine continued every other day until Mhalasapati's passing.
