The procession of Sai Baba to the Chavadi was a grand and joyous event. As detailed in Chapter 37, the surroundings were decorated with arches, garlands, and rows of lamps. The procession began when Tatya Patil arrived to escort Baba. Baba, dressed in His kafni and with a golden-bordered shawl placed over Him by Tatya, would start the journey. The procession was filled with music from instruments like horns, trumpets, mridangas, and veenas, along with fireworks and the chanting of Sai's name. Devotees walked in rows, carrying flags and banners, filled with immense joy and love.
