Can you describe the poor conditions of the Chavadi where Amir Shakkar had to stay?

📖 Chapter 22

The Chavadi where Sai Baba instructed Amir Shakkar to stay was in a dreadful state. Chapter 22 describes it as an old, dilapidated building where lizards, house lizards, and poisonous scorpions lived freely. It was also a place where lepers stayed and dogs ate leftovers. The text highlights its filth, mentioning garbage in the back and seventeen knee-deep holes, stating it was a place of such trouble that even a dog would avoid it. The environmental conditions were also terrible, with rain coming from above, dampness rising from below, and the whole place being a 'total chaos of wind and cold,' which was especially contrary to a cure for rheumatism.
