Can you describe the physical condition of the Chavadi as experienced by Amir Shakkar?

📖 Chapter 22

The Chavadi, as described in Chapter 22, was in a very poor physical state when Amir Shakkar was instructed to stay there. It was an old and dilapidated structure originally built by Malik Ambar. The text vividly portrays a place teeming with lizards, house lizards, and poisonous scorpions. It was also a shelter for lepers, and dogs would eat leftovers there. The back part was filled with garbage, the ground had seventeen knee-deep holes, and it suffered from constant dampness from below and rain from above, creating a chaotic environment of wind and cold that was deeply unsettling for Amir.
