In the Masjid, Maharaj devised a unique sleeping arrangement by hanging a wooden plank from the rafters using old rags. As detailed in Chapter 0, these rags were not strong enough to support the plank, let alone Maharaj's body as well. His ability to sleep on it was considered a display of his divine power. He would place four lit lamps at the corners of the plank while he slept. A great mystery surrounded this practice, as despite many people watching, no one ever saw Maharaj climbing up to or getting down from the plank. Eventually, because so many people gathered to witness this spectacle, Maharaj broke the plank to remove the distraction.
Can you describe the miracle associated with how Maharaj used to sleep on a plank in the Masjid?
