Can you describe the manner and scale in which Sai Baba would request Dakshina from his visitors?

Chapter 14 details Sai Baba's unique and often demanding method of requesting Dakshina. He would ask for an offering from anyone who came for His darshan, regardless of their faith, be they Hindu, Muslim, or Parsi. The amount was entirely at His discretion; He might ask for a small sum of one or two rupees, or He could request immense fortunes in the hundreds, thousands, lakhs, and crores. If a devotee claimed to have given all they had, Baba might even instruct them to "Take a loan." This unpredictable and persistent approach was a key part of His interactions with devotees.
