Despite his initial doubts, Mamlatdar Dev extended gracious and complete hospitality to the Sanyasi and his companions. According to Chapter 40, when the Sanyasi asked for a meal, Dev replied, "Come, it is a pleasure. Consider this your own home." He invited the three of them to eat at noon, and the text confirms they were "thoroughly satisfied by the meal." Following the meal, Dev respectfully performed all the traditional rituals, including Uttaraposhan (final sipping of water) and Shuddhachaman (rinsing the mouth). With great joy, he also offered everyone sandalwood paste, flowers, betel leaves, perfume, and rosewater, ensuring his uninvited guests were treated with the utmost honor and care.
