Certainly. As detailed in Chapter 40, when the Sanyasi returned with his two companions at noon, Dev welcomed them. All three were seated and served a meal that left them thoroughly satisfied. After they finished eating, the proper rituals of Uttaraposhan and Shuddhachaman were completed. Dev extended full etiquette and hospitality with great respect and joy, offering them sandalwood paste, flowers, betel leaves, perfume, and rosewater, just as he did for all the other guests at his Udyapan ceremony. He considered it a pleasure to host them, telling the Sanyasi to consider his home as his own.
