The nightly procession of Sai Baba to the Chavadi was a grand, joyous event filled with music and devotion. As Baba set out, a host of musical instruments, including horns, trumpets, mridanga, and veena, would begin to play. Chapter 37 describes how men and women walked in rows, singing bhajans and chanting Sai’s name with great love. The path was lit by torches and fireworks, while devotees carried banners and flags, some even dancing and jumping in celebration. The entire scene was one of a blissful gathering, marked by the thunder of drums and shouts of victory.
