The Chavadi procession was a grand and joyous event. According to Chapter 37, the area was decorated with arches and flags, and rows of lamps were lit near the Masjid. The procession began when Tatya Patil arrived to help Baba. As they started, a multitude of musical instruments, including horns, trumpets, mridanga, and veena, began to play, accompanied by fireworks. Devotees, both men and women, walked in rows, carrying banners and flags, dancing and chanting Sai's name with great love and joy. The procession was led by the decorated horse Shyamakarna, creating a magnificent spectacle of devotion.
