Despite his suffering, he meditated on Baba day and night. Chapter 33 recounts that Baba appeared to Narayanrao in a dream, coming from an underground chamber to assure him of his recovery. Baba promised improvement from the next day and that he would be able to sit up within a week. True to Baba's word, Narayanrao's health improved, and he later visited Shirdi to have Darshan of the Samadhi and narrate this miraculous experience.
