Can you describe the events that led to Laxmichand's devotion to Sai Baba becoming a regular and established practice?

📖 Chapter 28

Laxmichand's devotion became deeply fixed after he personally experienced Sai Baba's omniscience. He had developed a private craving for a sweet called khaja, and Baba, knowing this unexpressed desire, arranged for it to be served. Furthermore, Baba verbally acknowledged Laxmichand's physical discomforts of hunger and back pain. As Chapter 28 recounts, when his unspoken wish was fulfilled, "joy arose in his heart" and his "love was fixed on Baba." From that point forward, his devotion became a consistent practice, and he would regularly send offerings like incense, garlands, and camphor to Baba in Shirdi whenever he found someone traveling there.
